I had every intention of posting this last night, but I came home from work later than usual. This is what I wore yesterday. I know my pose looks weird, but don't worry -- I didn't parade around town with my pants hoisted like this. I just want to you to see my Doc Marten wing tips. Bulky as they are, I love them. They're really comfy.
I also wore these rose resin earrings from Betsey Johnson.

Today was wonderful despite the rain. I managed to run several errands in the morning, including trips to Trader Joe's, Michael's and Target. I also stopped by the post office and picked up my mail. Lo and behold, my prize arrived!! Last week I won a fantastic giveaway from Rachie's Place (she's also my wonderful new sponsor!). I'm itching to open the package right now, but I'm going to control myself. Stay tuned later this week for the unboxing. :)
Okay, so this is what I wore today and I'm aware that I committed a fashion faux pas. But I really wanted to wear this dress and I didn't want to freeze my ass off. Hence, the pants under the dress. Anyhow, I kinda like it and will wear this ensemble again some time soon -- whether it's right or wrong.

I finally moved my Wardrobe Remix *photography studio* from my murky, 3x5 office doorway to the living room, where it's spacious and well-lit -- perfect for indoor shots. As Rebecca of The Clothes Horse has suggested in her posts, I used my camera's timer and a tripod rather than juggle a cramped space, a warped mirror and my camera to get head to toe coverage (required by the rules of Wardrobe Remix on Flickr).

Today was the best Thanksgiving Day for me -- for the first time in years, I didn't have any serious homework lingering in the back of my mind. No math or physics problems to solve and no programs to write. It felt marvelous!
