SF Drive Thru: The Inner Sunset

I've been taking a lot of pictures of San Francisco from the passenger side of our car, en route to work, school, or some miscellaneous errand. These are not pictures of San Francisco landmarks -- just regular photos of daily, ordinary things, like these pictures of the Inner Sunset.

The Inner Sunset is a mixed residential/business district with many colorful homes in the gingerbread Victorian style. I've taken about a hundred pictures so far. And I noticed they were just collecting dust in a folder on my desktop. So I thought it would be fun to put them here as another weekly feature of five per week. I'll call it SF Drive Thru.

Great idea. The houses are gorgeous. I especially love the pink and blue one.

I take drive-by photos when I'm back in California, too... especially when we're going down the highway past all the rolling golden hills. Those are the views I miss the most! I recognize some of the buildings in your photos... it's making me verklempt! I always miss California the most during wintertime.

SF is so gorgeous with it's Victorian row houses. I always love the brightly painted trims.

These are the best kind of photos to take. I would love to visit SF some time. It is #1 on my list of places to see if I ever make it out to the west coast.

This is my neighborhood! EEEkkk! I love it here, it is so quaint and beautiful and charming and sweet. It feels like a small town in the big city, especially with the gorgeous park just a handful of blocks away. These photos are beautiful and capture uch of what is so lovely about this neighborhood. Thank you for sharing!
