Nesting: Anthropologie Dinnerware
My home is ill-equipped for entertaining dinner guests. Six years ago, I started off with a set of half a dozen plates with matching bowls, glasses, and cups, all from Target. Today, I'm down to 3 plates, 4 bowls, and 4 cups. So, for my little get-together over the weekend, I had to make an emergency trip to Safeway to buy disposable plates. Maybe if I had guests over more frequently, I'd be better prepared.
I really don't mind the deplorable state of my china. In my fantasy world, where I have lots of dinner parties, I'd have the following eclectic selection of bowls, cups, and plates in my dinnerware collection. These pretties are all from Anthropologie.

Anthro has such gorgeous household items (in addition to their amazing clothes) !
I loooooovve Anthropologie.
Their kitchenware is amazing, I especially love the birdie plate.
None of our dishware matches, I've collected vintage china plates from thrift stores, and real silverware. Honestly I like having mis-matched a lot more than all the same :)
i heart anthropologie too! i keep their catalogs near my bed for some late night inspiration...hoping some creative ideas might enter my dreams:)
GREAT idea - love!! how wonderful it would be to have a mix of dishes! i always see cute, SINGLE items in marshalls/tj maxx. . . perhaps i should start picking up one at a time to make a lovely set. . .
thank you:)
Oh, wow. Anthropologie always has the most beautiful housewares. I want all the bowels and cups and the Eiffel tower plate.
Anthropologie is always awesome!
