There's a Skullcandy kiosk at the mall and every time I walk by, my eyes are drawn to these Lowriders, a minimal bulk version of DJ headphones. They are about $40.00 and are as cute as buttons. Their primary market is children and the child in me loves them. Unfortunately, all the reviews I've seen and read pretty much say the same thing: sound quality is substandard and they tend to fall off (especially when you headbang!). I was seriously considering getting one in "Chrome-Yello", until I saw this honest review on YouTube:

I received Lipstick Queen's latest creation this afternoon: Big Bang Theory - Illusion Gloss in a shimmery deep wine called Black Hole. It's smooth and sticky free and the color is amazing. I can't wait to try the other colors:
- Time - shimmery golden nude
- Expansion - shimmery pale pink
- Space - shimmery grey pink
- Infinite - shimmery pinky peach
- Creation - shimmery rose
- Cosmos - shimmery ruby
- Energy - shimmery bright red
Lipstick Queen is available at all Barneys New York stores and Bloomingdales. You can also purchase any Lipstick Queen product directly from her website at LipstickQueen.com.
Thank you, Lipstick Queen -- I love it. :)

Finally visited Pamplemousse Pâtisserie et Café in Redwood City today. Two words describe my experience: Utterly delightful. Well, Doug and I are going to spend the rest of the evening watching a couple of Woody Allen films while gorging on these delicacies.

To follow up on the Orla Kiely for Target craze a couple of weeks ago: I scored two pretty side plates and a mug.
