TMI List Love
December 1, 2008
I'm participating in Abdpbt's List Love. I learned about it via Pauvre Plume. So here's my list. TMI: 25 things you don't need to know about me:
- When I was a kid, I was the neighborhood bully.
- Driving behind the wheel on the Bay Bridge freaks me out a LOT.
- My tomboy and girly girl personas duke it out daily while choosing clothes to wear in the mornings.
- In the 80's, I used to be a hairspray hair bear.
- At 14, I auditioned for Elite Modeling Agency. Tired of dumpster-diving, I bought the myth that models get clothes for free. Needless to say, nothing ever came out of that.
- I don't cook, but love to watch cooking shows.
- Cannot watch scary movies without detrimental mental side effects that could last for days.
- I enjoy cleaning my ears with Q-Tips. I do it for the eargasms.
- Gabriel Byrne is my favorite actor.
- Intelligent men really turn me on.
- I'm a happy dork with no social life.
- The word masturbate makes me laugh. Nasty jokes give me the giggles.
- I used to weigh 189 lbs.
- My eyes well up with tears every time I hear the Star Spangled Banner.
- I have a girl crush on Katy Perry.
- I also have a crush on Gavin Newsom.
- I had a massive crush on Edward Norton during my Fight Club obsession.
- Watched Top Gun 1000 times. My sisters and I used to rewind the blue tinted love scene again and again and again. We loved the wicked volley ball scene, too.
- I've had my fair share of *raving* back in the day.
- Cap'n Crunch was my initial inspiration for pursuing a CS degree. I met him at a rave.
- I've been pursuing my college degree for the last 15 years. Spring 2009 will be my last semester. Fucking finally. Though I have no regrets with CS, if I could do it all over again, I'd pursue art instead.
- I've read every self-help book.
- Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsh literally saved my life, though I'm not religious. I'm not Christian, nor Catholic, nor any other religious denomination.
- I'm a big Woody Allen and Larry David fan.
- This guy is totally living out my twelve year old fantasy: the lucky bastard

I still have a crush on Edward Norton after watching The Painted Veil. I love it when american actors do spot-on english accents. We flew to HI once and I watched it for two flights. The scene when they reunite after the fighting (she's in her negligee, he walks quickly up to her) just kills me.
7 8 10 11 17 23(except haven't read this book yet) are me too:)
Fun list! I just might have to do one. . .
Funny. I got an art degree, and if I had it all to do over again, I'd have pursued CS instead.
Deb: I can't wait to read yours!
Alice: Why is it that grass is always greener on the other side?
I am so with you on #12. Despite being somebody's mother, I love "Superbad" so much it hurts and giigled while in a museum with my kids last week and heard a piece of art described as "masturbatory."
Hey Christine, yeah, #12. My sense of humor is pretty pubescent. I'm relieved to hear that I'm not alone.
"I do it for the eargasm" is the best thing I've heard all week. You make me laugh. :)
Also, is someone still supposed to send me shoes to review? I remember you mentioning something about it maybe happening in the fall and I just realized that fall is pretty much over. If not, that's okay, but I'd still love to do it.
Also, yes. Any sort of body humor/gross joke is pretty much my favorite thing ever.
Oh my Seven: High Five! :D
This is great! I've been told to read "He's Just Not That In To You," but I can't find it anywhere but Amazon...the self-help section at B&N cracked me up...yikes!
What are the rules for this listy thang? I wanna do it!
This made me really happy. I may have to do this one too.
