Technicolor Effect in Photoshop

I've received some emails inquiring about how I accomplished the retro effect for my Bob-ified photo. I found a tutorial by zh0823 at devianArt. The effect amounted to the following three steps:

  1. Select the green channel (select all)
  2. Copy it
  3. Paste it onto the blue channel
