Cute Magic Can't Deal With the She-Hulk
I can't even tell you how excited I was when Gwenelle and Danielle from Solestruck.com emailed me about reviewing some shoes: Cute Magic by Clarks. Taken directly from Solestruck.com, here are the specs on Cute Magic:
Skimmer-style comfort flat
Want to partake in current trends without scarring your soles? Take a walk in the Clarks Cute Magic—no one would even guess that it's a comfort shoe! The casual construction gives a little bit of texture with a distressed leather upper, a triangular-cut toe, and inversed stitching around the heel. To finish off this fab number, a sturdy yet thin crepe sole adds more texture, and leaves the classic Clarks signature. Padded footbed. Leather upper. Crepe outsole. A Clarks original. Womens shoe. Imported.
I was happy they arrived today, but felt disappointed after I tried them on. Everyone, meet my 4.5 inch-wide and flat hooves, the "She-Hulks". Using their pugly super powers, they managed to nullify the magic in Cute Magic. If you have wide and flat feet as I do, you may want to consider this when buying Cute Magic. To Clarks' credit, I walked all over the house in them yesterday and they were optimal as far as comfort was concerned.
To my regret, I'm going to have to return the shoes. Solestruck.com made the process of returning them an easy one: with their pre-paid shipping, returns are simple and FREE. And, they accept returns up to ONE FULL YEAR from the original date of purchase. So, if you have problems with shoes ordered from Solestruck.com, don't worry about it. Exchanging and returning shoes with Solestruck.com is pretty easy.

That's so sad... they're really cute.
(By the way, the Captcha thing says "enormous fudges," and now I'm craving chocolate.)
They're so cute though! I may have to give them a try - the Cute Bar works for me, but I have yet to find anything even remotely ballet flat-ish that will stay on my feet :)
You have nice feet, Chez Shoes -- I seriously think they'd look FAB on you. =)
Seven, my CAPTCHA says "Robnson Witherbee".
I am still saddened that these didn't work out! I'll take it as a warning to myself (I have wide feet, too!) to stray away. Booo!!
PG & R photos made me giggle. :)
