Turquoise Blue ~ Sephora #55 Giveaway!
In search for the elusive Baby Go Bye-Bye nail sticks by Nicole (by Opi), I visited both Target stores in Daly City after work this evening. I thank Chez Shoes for suggesting Target because they do stock the Nicole by Opi nail sticks. However, to my dismay, both Target locations only had a few colors left in stock. Blue appears to be a very popular color at the moment. They were even out of the Wet 'n Wild in blue (thank you for recommending this, Kirsten and Danielle).
What's a girl to do? Scour the Internet, that's what. I immediately visited Amazon and queried "turquoise nail polish". A Sephora listing landed on the very top of my search with Turquoise Blue, Color #55. Unfortunately, they, too, were out of stock. But luckily, their brick and mortar on Union St. saved the day.
I'm giving away 3 of the 4 bottles in a random drawing next Friday, 7/25. To enter the drawing, just post a comment expressing your desire to paint your nails a wicked blue -- your name (public) and email address (private) -- that's it! Since the readership of this blog is pretty light, all my readers may very well receive a bottle. Entries will be accepted until Thursday evening, 7/24, at 6pm Pacific Time.
Good luck, Smurfettes.

Sweet! I was just thinking that color was awesome. I need to change things up anyway... it'd be awesome to win. :)
Smurf toes! I need Smurf toes!
Heading out to at least one Target later this morning - I'll still try scouting out that Nicole blue.
What a PERFECT blue! My toes would love it!!
I love the color and although I try not to draw attention to my toes, I'd still like to try it. My toes will be perfectly camouflaged to the bottom of the pool.
1. Wet-'n'-Wild is generally crap, so sorry for suggesting it. However, I'm still trying to find my turquoise so I can tell you exactly what color/brand it was.
2. You are very brave for baring your toes! I was considering doing mine, too, but mine are worse that yours, and I need a pedicure first....
Oh, and while I might not bare the turquoise on my toes, it would look seriously FIERCE on my fingers! ;)
Hey Danielle, I wish those toes were mine -- they belong to a blogger at Team Sugar. =) I love mine dearly, but they're quite hideous!
totally, totally want that color! so very cool! hope i manage to snag a bottle!
Cute blue color! I'd love to have me some Smurfette fingers and toes.
I was into navy blue nails but i was looking for a new shade and now i found it. I am a fan of black and denim, but with bright accessories and these would be a great addition. You relationship with your feet is the relationship i have with my hands, but i can't put shoes on them . I always try to wear polish because you have to admit a little polish even makes the phugliest feet look a little prettier.
I've been going the grey or black nail route for a while so this could be quite the change. Ohh and for a double bonus, if I win we could meet for cupcakes in SF instead of shipping the polish. win-win.
That color is gorgeous! And it would go so well with my favorite red (Red Hot Ayers Rock by OPI) that I'm already thinking up fun nail decoration designs. Maybe a nail polish/feather earrings exchange to make the postage more worthwhile if I win?
I'm sorry with all i said above i would love to be entered in the contest . Thanks!!!
Wait a second, did you just say your readership is light? Not when you're doing a giveaway, obviously ;)
I've generally been a red or pink polish kind of girl, but when I spotted this post and your gorgeous turquoise blue ... it's like love at first sight/site ;)
Oooh, a thought just occurred to me ... toe nail polish could be my "something blue" for my wedding in September!
Um I'm in a blue mood myself, please enter my name.
