Irregular Choice
I'm always on the lookout for fabulous shoes. The quirkier the better.
I was browsing through a Flickr friend's photostream and I became intrigued with one picture in particular. She had recently ordered Sky Fox by Irregular Choice, chunky high heels with polka dots and critters. This struck me as unusual and quite honestly, I wasn't sure if I liked the shoes so much as I felt strange and caught off guard by critters on her shoes. When I noticed that the critters were actually unicorns, my mind flashed back to the 80's, and all of a sudden, I was sitting in front of my grandmother's television set, watching episodes of My Little Pony. After recovering from that, still intrigued, I googled Irregular Choice. I was pleased with my findings.
Irregular by name, irregular by nature, as the story goes, "The idea is to make you look twice, with garnishing and detail that any wedding cake would be proud of."
A day *well-spent* -- I literally combed through the Irregular Choice official website for my favorite styles; downloaded images; read much about the founder and sole designer of IC, Danny Sullivan; perused through the Look Books of seasons current and past, and googled Irregular Choice for stockists. If it's not already obvious, I'm smitten with Irregular Choice.

I'm so glad you like Irregular Choice! It's one of my favourite shoe brands, because there are so many different options available each season, and the soles are always patterned in some way. Keep an eye out for the online sales - you can pick up some great bargains!
Wow, thanks! These are truly for the rock star that should be in everyone of us. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait for the US dollar to improve (hah!) before I venture to buy a pair.
I completely understand being smitten with Irregular Choice. While I'm not generally one to wear such extra-ordinary shoes, I just can't help but admire them. And likewise, I'm almost ashamed to admit that I've also spent entire afternoons becoming familiar with some of my favorite shoe brands! :)
