Ikea Blomsters
I used to poke fun at homes decorated with plastic flowers. I don't know, somehow they reminded me of people who protected their plush sofas with clear plastic covers, begging the question: What's the point?
Whatever the source of these disturbing thoughts, plastic flowers never failed to conjure these sterile images in my mind. Can you imagine the turmoil I felt in the floral department at Ikea the other day? Well, let's just say that I lingered in that department for a long long while.
Anyhow, I left Ikea with a nice bouquet of tulips and Gerber Daisies and some other gorgeous flowers.
I scattered them all over the house -- a vase in each room . I tell ya -- I love them and have no regrets whatsoever. However fake they are, they sit nicely and have quite a presence. They are simply lovely.
