Tartx ~ Alice in Wonderland
I'm an Alice in Wonderland illustration nut. For some reason, it strongly appeals to me. Whenever I see anything inspired by John Tenniel's drawings, I always stop and admire it. I'm still holding on to the Alice in Wonderland stickers I bought in the 5th grade (I was an avid sticker collector in my youth).
Can you imagine how I felt when I visited Tiffini Electra's Tartx.com? When I saw the Strange Little Girl ring depicting Alice holding the bottle labeled "Drink Me", I just about had a heart attack. But I recovered and continued to wander about her website, and then her blog, only to discover that my heart attack was far from over...
In addition to covetable rings, Ms. Electra also has awesome Alice in Wonderland brushes for Photoshop, and I just about keeled over when I learned they were free. Yes, you read correctly: FREE. The brushes are immensely fun. (Download the brushes here.)

I feel the same way about Alice!
Have you seen the pop book of Alice in Wonderland illustrated by J.Otto? I's very fun!
Thanks for the heads up. It's soooooo cute and couldn't resist snagging a copy from Amazon. Thanks!
You are the sweetest. Thank you so much for letting me know my link was down as well! Xo
I adore the Tenniel Alice drawings too...WHEN will someone produce an elegantly weird version(Tim Burton?) of the story with a Tenniel animation? Use English actors for voices...This could be a classic...
Yay! I absolutely LOVE John Tenniel's stylized Alice. I love it so much I adapted it into an unabridged graphic novel and tried to emulate him. I was more successful in some places than others, but overall I am pleased with how it turned out. It is so great to find out other people think the original is still the best!
