Marcelle On Amazon
Okay, here's my final final Marcelle update. I was able to buy a pair of Sanita Marcelles on Amazon. The great news is that they look like the Marcelles we're ordinarily used to -- the ones with the lovely lines -- the ones with the seams in front (as opposed to these). I placed my order Thursday evening and though they're not scheduled to arrive until Thursday, December 6, they're now in Oakland, California, so chances are highly favorable that I'll get them tomorrow!
If you're still looking for a pair of Marcelles, Amazon still has a few colors available with the Sanita Clogs label:

Needless to say, my Secret Mission is over. If you are at all curious, it entailed discretely following a bidding war gone awry on eBay. However, since my Amazon find, I've abandoned it completely. Hooray!

Thank you so much for posting all this info! I just ordered a pair of the cordovan cabrio. :)
After contacting Dansko directly, they are still manufacturing (or have stockpiles of) Black and Hickory Marcelles. Retailers in the US can still order them.
Last week Norstrom ordered a few pairs for me. I have different sized feet due to a childhood accident, and they will sell two sizes per pair for the cost of one. :)
