Dr. Martens - Poppies

I saw this shoe on shoe-shop.com and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The Dr. Martens 1460 in Cherry is a personal favorite and lies close to my heart. From a textile perspective, the poppy pattern is really cute. Though Dr. M's Poppy is within the family, and though it seems alright -- even avant-garde, I can't shake the feeling that's it's also so very wrong. I guess it all depends on what one would wear to complement it.

Thoughts? Pugly or fugly?
