The Birthday by Marc Chagall

First saw this painting in one of Kami's dvds called Classical Baby, which is an HBO show for toddlers introducing the lucky little ones to the beautiful world of art. The painting above, called Birthday, is a piece by the artist, Marc Chagall. It was featured in Classical Baby in the clip called, "The Kiss". I was so moved by the clip, it was difficult to withhold some tears.

I must say this is a most beautiful piece of work! As I looked into this " Birthday " I seen motion to it. I seen life in the objects. It is sad that I did not know of this artists Marc Chagall, but I'm now quite captivated by his work. I'm now on a journy to find, and observe his workings. If anyone knows where these pieces lay, give me an e-mail.
