Overwhelmed
Sit Down by James
Now I'm relieved to hear
That you've been to some far out places
Its hard to carry on
When you feel all aloneThe wisdom that I seek
Has been found in the strangest spaces
Feels a lot like love
That I feel for youDrawn by the undertow
My life is out of control
I believe this wave will bear my weight
So let it flowOh sit down
Sit down next to me
Sit down, down, down, down, down
In sympathySwing from high to deep
Extremes of sweet and sour
Hope that God exists
I hope I prayNow I've swung back down again
It's worse than it was before
If I hadn't seen such riches
I could live with being poorOh sit down
Sit down next to me
Sit down, down, down, down, down
In sympathyThose who feel the breath of sadness
Sit down next to me
Those who find they're touched by madness
Sit down next to me
Those who find themselves ridiculous
Sit down next to me
In love, in fear, in hate, in tearsOh sit down
Sit down next to me
Sit down, down, down, down, down
In sympathy

Umm, this is verdantly BRILLIANT!!! Is that greenness for real?! I didn't know such a thing existed. Also, I'm jealous you can wear those groucho pants this time of year. I'm already sick, and I wear a veritable snowsuit each day.
:)
Hope you're well, Katrina!
The clover is fo sho, fo reals (but then again the color intensity/saturation has a lot to do with your monitor settings)! As for the weather, it was 65 degrees in SF today.
Thanks, L. I'm fine, thanks for asking -- just kinda overwhelmed by stuff. I hope you get better soon. :)
You are very welcome -- though I'm sorry to hear you're overwhelmed. Please know you're not alone...! And hey, at least you have big-pimpin' clover and mild climate to keep you cozy (silver lining?)...
:)
I'd write more, but I have to go blow my very sore nose :(
Hang in there, KT...
I just fell in love . . .with your absolutely fabulous blog. Where have you been all my life? Serious awesomeness.
Wow. Your comment perked me right up. Thank you, Maegan. :)
